FANTASTIC TURN OUT AT BARNES & NOBLE!

This past Saturday was great! I had a large turn out for my book signing at Barnes and Noble and several copies sold as well. I couldn't have asked for a better event. I am so thankful of all the people who came out to support me and all the new people I met that evening who never knew of me before, loving my art work and trying their hands at drawing from life too.

Jennifer Fabos Patton and Mather Louth were amazing models that evening. Shoppers in the store were stopping in their tracks to admire and praise them. Jen worn a latex dress specially designed for the event by Gina Nelson of Frenchy LaRue fashions.

I also noticed a lot of kids drawing with their parents which was very cool! The fact that both adults and children were enjoying creating art was a fun thing to watch.

So where to next you might be wondering. I don't know yet but I have ideas.

BARNES & NOBLE BOOK SIGNING

Wow, time flys!

It seem like just yesterday I was attempting to blog more often but in the last year I was caught up with publishing my art book, 18x24 And Other Sizes, suddenly before I knew it, it started developing a life of its own and I've been along for the ride.

I had a book signing at Gallery 800 in North Hollywood, CA. Another signing at Long Beach Comic Con, CA. And another back home at The Art League of New York.

At each of these events I had life drawing models present so people could experience first hand what its like to draw with models. And each event has been a success!

Now this weekend, I will be doing a signing at BARNES & NOBLE!

This is going to be fun. For the first time a Barnes & Noble book store is going to have life drawing occurring in their space and people are going to be drawing, how cool is that?!

The models will be doing a Valentine's themed costumed session and there will be supplies on hand to draw with or people can bring their own.
